Long and informative, very positive I love this quad
Best true nano quad on the market to date. Whoever said some of the best things in life come in small packages must have just flown this little guy. In beginner mode the Q4 is quick real quick, handles like it's on rails, and is as steady as a rock. Best part is if your a hubs an fan a d if yur getting this guy hen I'm sure you are you can you your X4 controller to fly it and you will have a much better flight experience. I wish hubsan would do what the Proto SLT did by offering a version with the bigger TX for a slightly high price range. I would gladly pay $30 for this wild thing. It has multiple flight modes so you as you become a more experienced pilot your fun bite sized quad will go with you. It's a great quad for traveling due to its small size. Also at this price point you will have no problem ha did gthe remote to your friend who has never flow before a few itseconds durability makes it even more reassuring that they probably won't break it anyway. I am currently on my 7th one and not because they break or get lost but because whenever I let a friend fly one they ask me where the y can get one today and I say online always the next response is nowhere local to get one now. Then they always end up buying mine from me on the spot then I hop on Amazon and order a new for next day delivery and we are both happy. The quad flight characteristics are the same as the original hubs an that we all know and love. It flips in mode two just like the X4 and is just as stable but incredibly twitchy and reactive to every little movement on sticks but once you get the hang of it everything else will just feel slow and cumbersome. Even your bigger 250 race drones. The anatomy of the Q4 is the entire body doubles as the FC and PCB and ESC'S to keep it as small and light as possible and the result is spot on and ultimately you don't see/notice any wires so it has a clean sweet looking body. One thing I have to mention so all the haters out there can get it right. Hubs an was first to market with this body style and flight characteristics not Estes w/ the Proto X they were just the first to the American market where Hubs an first released there in Japan only then cake to the US only nqno seconds behind the Proto X but many people believe Hubs an ripped off Estes and that is not the truth. This is a very popular body style as you can tell by the nuMero us versions of this exact same quad on the market today I can think of almost 5 but I'm sure there is many more and out of them all Hubs an is the best, the one and only nano Q4 for this reviewer and you can guarantee I'll be letting anyone who asks if they can fly it take it for a spin which means I'll be buying many many more of these little bad boys.

Best nano quad at a great price
This is a great little quad. It comes complete ready to fly. If you're a fan of the original H107 you'll love this one. It has virtually identical flight characteristics. Even the same protocol and controls so you can use a H107 transmitter with it, including being able to custom rates for normal and expert. Even with the supplied controller with 3 preset rates its easy to fly on the low rate and very fast on highest rate. Unlike other nano quads where yaw rate is fixed, on this one pitch, roll, and yaw rates all adjust according to setting.

Fly Anywhere
Deserves a 5 star but I gave it a 4 because it should have come with a prop guard. Use your adult size transmitter, like comes with the 107s, for more control. I have 4 now. Dance with DRAGONFLYS. Where can I find a prop guard?

If you want a Nano drone/quad, this is the one to get for fun, durability, and continued use.
Having entered the world of quad-copters / drones recently, I have a bigger drone that I try to fly as much as possible. I decided that a tiny drone, one with good reviews, would be an excellent 'toy' to try out and play with with my kids. After using and learning how the H111 Q4 Nano worked, and after flying it about 15 times, I started to understand why it was so cool. Here is the result:
1. I became a better and more calm flyer of my bigger drones because of flight time on this so-called toy.
2. After bringing it to the office, more than five people bought the same type directly through Hubsan.
3. The quality and durability that comes out of this PCB and up minimal design is excellent.
4. The parts for repair are easily available -I am now an owner of (3) H111 Q4s so I can fly with my kids, or have a spare.
5. I have modified the original model to have tighter props, and slightly more unbreakable props. I have also modified my original drone to have a bigger battery that makes this drone a perfect flier for me.

All in all, out of all of the nano-type drones on the market, this one is durable, easy to fly, and ends up being the best ~$20 you've ever spent. I have flown mine over 100 times. Now, after I have a full charge and go out for a fly in the office, house our outside, I switch to the elite modes by pressing the main directional stick. After zipping around confidently in one of these modes, and even sometimes doing flips and the sort, if I switch back to basic (green led no flash) mode, the little drone becomes easier to fly - it's almost like telekinesis and it only takes a good 20 flights to get you to this point.

Over all, I am super satisfied with this toy / tool / trainer / entertainment purchase. My original model after MUCH abuse is still working great.

Hubsan is a great company and they have great engineering and designs to offer on their products. After being a faithful buyer I can only recommend them to others - others have had excellent service on defective units out of the box. Myself, I had to repair mine without the same treatment my peers have had - they offered to replace after shipping back a bad unit. Too much shipping and hassle for $20 in my opinion, but they make that call sometimes.
