Long and informative, very positive I love this quad
Best true nano quad on the market to date. Whoever said some of the best things in life come in small packages must have just flown this little guy. In beginner mode the Q4 is quick real quick, handles like it's on rails, and is as steady as a rock. Best part is if your a hubs an fan a d if yur getting this guy hen I'm sure you are you can you your X4 controller to fly it and you will have a much better flight experience. I wish hubsan would do what the Proto SLT did by offering a version with the bigger TX for a slightly high price range. I would gladly pay $30 for this wild thing. It has multiple flight modes so you as you become a more experienced pilot your fun bite sized quad will go with you. It's a great quad for traveling due to its small size. Also at this price point you will have no problem ha did gthe remote to your friend who has never flow before a few itseconds durability makes it even more reassuring that they probably won't break it anyway. I am currently on my 7th one and not because they break or get lost but because whenever I let a friend fly one they ask me where the y can get one today and I say online always the next response is nowhere local to get one now. Then they always end up buying mine from me on the spot then I hop on Amazon and order a new for next day delivery and we are both happy. The quad flight characteristics are the same as the original hubs an that we all know and love. It flips in mode two just like the X4 and is just as stable but incredibly twitchy and reactive to every little movement on sticks but once you get the hang of it everything else will just feel slow and cumbersome. Even your bigger 250 race drones. The anatomy of the Q4 is the entire body doubles as the FC and PCB and ESC'S to keep it as small and light as possible and the result is spot on and ultimately you don't see/notice any wires so it has a clean sweet looking body. One thing I have to mention so all the haters out there can get it right. Hubs an was first to market with this body style and flight characteristics not Estes w/ the Proto X they were just the first to the American market where Hubs an first released there in Japan only then cake to the US only nqno seconds behind the Proto X but many people believe Hubs an ripped off Estes and that is not the truth. This is a very popular body style as you can tell by the nuMero us versions of this exact same quad on the market today I can think of almost 5 but I'm sure there is many more and out of them all Hubs an is the best, the one and only nano Q4 for this reviewer and you can guarantee I'll be letting anyone who asks if they can fly it take it for a spin which means I'll be buying many many more of these little bad boys.

Best nano quad at a great price
This is a great little quad. It comes complete ready to fly. If you're a fan of the original H107 you'll love this one. It has virtually identical flight characteristics. Even the same protocol and controls so you can use a H107 transmitter with it, including being able to custom rates for normal and expert. Even with the supplied controller with 3 preset rates its easy to fly on the low rate and very fast on highest rate. Unlike other nano quads where yaw rate is fixed, on this one pitch, roll, and yaw rates all adjust according to setting.

Great Quadcopter!
Very stable and responsive! The yaw rate is really fast.
Small enough to fly in any size room. Bright LED lights, great for flying in the dark.
The Low Voltage Cutoff feature works great. The LED lights will flash letting you know it's time to land.
Replacement parts are readily available.

I am using the Hubsan X4 H107L transmitter with the quad instead of using the transmitter that came with it which works good but I have extra large hands so the bigger transmitter works well for me. With the X4 transmitter you will have a bigger size controller, LCD screen, programmable rates and be able to turn on and off the quadcopter LED lights.

When I flew the quad for the first time new out of the box it would fly forward (more than just drifting forward) like you were giving it forward command. I then calibrated the sensors on a flat level surface and the flying forward was corrected. It now hovers well, I don't even need to add any trim.
