A fun flight with the Hubsan X4
First off, I'm a beginner. The X4 was smaller than I thought, but it has been a blast flying it. The X4 was designed to be forgiving, and it is. I may need to buy a few more blades because the blades spin off the shaft before they get damaged. I lose one every now and then in high grass. The 4 arms have a break away feature to cushion a hard landing. All you do is re-snap the arms and your good to go. I haven't videoed any flights yet as I'm still learning to fly a quad. I will say the X4 is way fast and more fun to fly than a larger quad. I wish the batteries lasted for 30 minutes, but then it wouldn't be a nano!
An excellent quad at a good price that is fun to fly!!!

Skill level maintenance
A must have. I bought the 107 to get my wife up to speed for the 501s.. It worked! We routinely fly the 107 to maintain our skill level . This allows us to flip out of GPS mode to take control of the flight or landing the 501s

Fun flying the Hubsan X4
I'm a beginner, but the X4 is fast and fun to fly. With the breakaway features of the landing arms and the props spinning off before they get damaged is a great plus. I enjoy flying thin nano more than the larger quads!!!

Blows away my other mini quads
Fast and agile. Also easy to lose. I've had to track down this bird a few times. Leave the transmitter on at no throttle. Walk around and just pop the throttle on a second and you can hear it if you are close; the lights do the rest. If you turn off the trans it won't rebind and you are SOL! Video is fair. Great for flying where a bigger quad would get you in trouble. Flight times vary on how wild you fly this, but this is the perfect bird for tearing it up if even for only five minutes. Use the guard unless you are super good; the props and motors take a beating if you crash this thing. The guard saves the LED's too as they stick out.
